About LEF Bethlehem Church UK
We are a community of believers, called by God, saved by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, and set apart to live for His glory.
As the Church, the household of God, we gather as a spiritual family, united by the truth of the Gospel and the love of Christ. Our foundation is Jesus Christ, the Head of the Church. All who repent from dead works, place their faith in God, and are cleansed by the precious blood of Jesus are welcomed into the Body of Christ.
Through water baptism, we publicly declare our faith and commitment to follow Him. We view the Church as a living and growing spiritual house, built with living stones, where each member plays a vital role under Christ’s leadership. As the Church of the living God, we are called to be the pillar and foundation of the truth (1 Timothy 3:15).
At the heart of our fellowship is a deep devotion to worshiping God in spirit and in truth (John 4:23,24). We commit ourselves to the teaching of God’s Word, the breaking of bread, prayer, and fellowship, sharing His love with all (Acts 2:42).
We strive to live as blameless and faithful children of God, shining as lights in a dark world and holding fast to the Word of life, so that our labor for Christ may not be in vain, but bring joy in His day (Philippians 2:15-16).
Whether you are exploring faith or seeking a church home, we warmly welcome you to join us as we grow together in Christ and fulfill His mission in the world.
Our Vision
A church transformed by the light of Christ; the Word of God; shining through His people to the world, and a house of bread, treasuring Jesus, the Bread of Life.
To present every person perfect in Christ Jesus (Colossians 1:28) and to present the Church as a chaste virgin to Christ (2 Corinthians 11:2) at the glorious appearance of our Lord Jesus Christ on His return. (Titus 2:13).
Our Mission
Leading people from darkness into the light of God’s truth by proclaiming the Gospel regularly and bearing witness to His saving grace (Mark 16:15), guiding them into the kingdom of God. We disciple them through the Word of God and practical living (Luke 14:27)
Nurturing believers into mature followers of Christ by regular gatherings (Acts 2:42), equipping the next generation (Psalm 78:4–6) to shine as a perpetual light in a darkened world.
Laboring together (Matthew 12:30) under the yoke of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 11:29,30) to preparing a glorious church without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but holy and without blemish. (Ephesians 5:26,27)
Our Statement of Faith
We believe in one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We uphold the Holy Bible as the inspired, infallible Word of God, our guide and light (Psalm 119:105).
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Son of God, crucified and resurrected, the only way to salvation. All who repent and place their faith in Him are redeemed by His blood and indwelt by the Holy Spirit, forming the living body of Christ, the Church (1 Corinthians 12:12–13; Matthew 5:14).
We affirm the autonomy of local churches under Christ’s headship, committed to worship, prayer, teaching, fellowship, and the observance of the Lord’s Table (Acts 2:42).
We embrace the call to holiness, love, unity, and compassion, and are commissioned to make disciples of all nations, preparing the Church for the glorious return of our Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:19–20; Titus 2:13).
Our Ordinances
At LEF Bethlehem Church, we uphold the following ordinances and spiritual practices as expressions of faith and obedience
A public declaration of repentance (1Peter 3:21) and commitment to follow Jesus Christ, symbolizing dying to sin and being raised to new life (Romans 6:4; Matthew 28:19).
Laying on of hands is included as part of this practice for blessing, commissioning, and impartation of spiritual gifts, and prayer for the believer (Acts 8:17; 1 Timothy 4:14).
A sacred remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice, partaken to reflect on His body and blood, and to proclaim His death until He returns (1 Corinthians 11:23–26).

Our Core Values
Our Background
During the COVID-19 pandemic, God called a few people to begin online prayer conferences to support families caring for loved ones who were sick. Lighthouse Evangelical Fellowship UK (LEFUK) was birthed through a series of prayer gatherings held from March to August 2020 and officially launched on 5th September 2020 in God’s perfect timing. Since then, God has faithfully grown the ministry; raising leaders and prayer warriors, and equipping members to proclaim Christ, disciple believers, and serve the community through prayer, teaching, and outreach.
Through weekly gatherings, Bible studies, fasting prayers, Gospel outreach, and mission support, God fulfilled His promise from Mark 16:20 “…and they went out and preached everywhere, the Lord working with them and confirming the word through the accompanying signs….” confirming His Word through transformed lives and countless testimonies.
Under God’s progressive leading, LEF Bethlehem Church is established to build a generation for His mission; bringing many souls to Christ, turning hearts to light, and nourishing them with His Word. Believers are being equipped, strengthened in faith, and will continue to be prepared to fulfil God’s calling while advancing His kingdom on earth.
